With experience across neurodiversity, mental health, and youth work, she provides a warm and non-judgmental approach tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals.
As a psychologist in a clinical setting, Carmen values creating a safe and respectful environment where clients feel understood and supported throughout their therapeutic journey. Clients often describe Carmen as calm and genuine. She is known for helping clients feel comfortable while also encouraging growth, accountability, and self-understanding.

Carmen believes therapy should be collaborative, individualised, and strengths-focused. She emphasizes the importance of understanding that each person has the capacity for growth and change when provided with the right support, tools, and environment. Carmen collaborates with parents/caregivers and support networks to ensure clients receive comprehensive care and have the support to achieve their therapeutic goals.

Carmen’s professional background includes experience working with adolescents and adults across a variety of settings, including neurodiversity, mental health, behavioural support, offending behaviour, schools, and extensive collaboration with Out of Home Care agencies. Carmen has also conducted cognitive assessments for individuals presenting with learning difficulties and neurodevelopmental concerns, assisting in the identification of cognitive strengths and support needs to inform intervention and treatment planning.
