Positive Wellbeing Psychology is looking for Psychiatrists to work with our team. We handle all the admin, and payments, and have a steady flow of referrals. Experience with diagnosing and medication monitoring for ADHD is necessary. About the Opportunity

Positive Wellbeing Psychology is on the lookout for psychiatrists to join our team to provide online consultations to clients via telehealth Australia-wide. Our clients will range from 17 years and reside across Australia. In particular, our clients will be identifying with symptoms of inattention, hyperactivity and/or impulsivity in line with a diagnosis of ADHD.


A suitable candidate will be passionate about helping adults understand their diagnosis and to provide warm and compassionate support during the process of assessment, diagnosis and exploration of pharmacological treatment.


The typical presentation will be adults who believe that ADHD may be causing problems in their studies, work, professional and/or personal lives.


The main focus will be on providing hope to individuals and helping to identify their strengths and difficulties and to support the individual to overcome obstacles.


The suitable candidate will provide assessment and recommendations to our psychologists to help assist the client to engage with a regular psychological intervention that helps restore balance and to achieve their full potential across all domains in life including social, occupational, leisure, and personal. Our psychologists are well-training in a range of therapy approaches including CBT (including CBT-E for eating disorders), Schema Therapy, DBT, ACT, Mindfulness, Problem Focused, Psychoanalytical and IPT, and Gottman Method.

• Diverse learning of psychotherapy in optional weekly/fortnightly peer consultations.



Essential Criteria For Applicants:


• Registration with the AHPRA.

• A suitable candidate will specialise in Adult Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

• Consultants require an ABN, professional indemnity and public liability insurance.

• An appropriate work-from-home setup, including a high-speed internet connection and a computer/laptop/tablet for use in Telehealth (for online consultations only).
